I just wanted to pop in today and share something I’m so excited about this month! Go grab yourself a cup of coffee and let\u2019s get right into it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When I started Charlie Rowan Designs I had no background in surface or textile design. i<\/g> mean I went to school for Design and Merchandising and I’ve been a buyer and a Marketing Director, I’ve managed creative teams but when it came to actual Photoshop and Illustrator skills my 2 beginner level classes in college were the extent of my knowledge. Over the past year, and through a MILLION Google searches I found Bonnie Christine\u2019s courses on Surface Pattern Design, and they have legit been life changing<\/g>. They have taught me Adobe Illustrator (inside and out), how to create artwork, find my signature style and start working on my portfolio.

You need to know, when you’re on step 2 or 3, you won’t know what step 8 or 9 (or 6,321) looks like, but you’ll know each step just in time to make them happen.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because you know what? Everything in life is possible if you’re willing to put in the work.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I believe that dreams come true by way of knowledge, hard-work, and perseverance.<\/strong>
