Today…I will literally replay it in my mind forever and ever! For all the right reasons it was such a good day! We laughed, we talked, we fell down, we got back up, we ate French fries…we did all the things…the simple yet amazing things that we so easily pass up for to-do lists and errands to check off our lists!<\/p>\n

For at least a week Charlie has crawled into my bed each morning, like she does, and has asked me…”Today, can you pick me up before nap time so we can go skiing?” Even on the days she doesn’t have school, and for a week I’ve told her “not today” because that to-do list is long, and the hustle is real! But today I said “yes”! While the list is still long and the anxiety of not tackling it is definitely there, today the answer was yes, and the way she beamed…you guys…it was like she won the lottery!!<\/p>\n

Today Charlie did hard things, yet she was brave, and while she fell…a lot…she beamed with pride when she succeeded! I can’t describe it in any other way than it feeling like my mama heart was going to burst!! \u00a0I am so proud of who she is becoming!<\/p>\n

It’s been 1 year since I left Corporate American to purse this crazy dream of mine! And while I would be lying if I said it was easy…because it’s not…it’s hard as fuck!! There are so many positives…but \u00a0don’t let anyone fool you…it is filled with fear, self-doubt, long days that turn into mornings, rejections and wins…It’s a fucking roller coaster!! But even with all of that, for so many reasons, it is without a doubt worth it!! And you guys…today…on a Wednesday…I pulled this girl out of school with zero guilt, or worrying what a boss would say or how my peers would judge me, and had the best day date EVER!!\u00a0It’s days like today that make all the long nights and growing pains \"?\" worth it!!<\/p>\n

So in short, screw the to-do list, it will be there tomorrow, chase your dreams, live the life that breaths life, and love, and laughter into you….after all you only get one!<\/p>\n

We made a post skiing stop at Porcupine Grill, which if you’re an SLC local you know that’s like a right of passage after a long day of skiing….and she was in HEAVEN! \u00a0Watching her little face beam and her whisper to herself…”this is the best day ever”….it’s does not get better than that folks!\"Charlie<\/p>\n
