I won’t lie we’ve been struggling to get into the fall spirit over here. \u00a0I don’t know whether it was how amazing summer was or that it’s been such nice weather, but while it felt like every mom in the universe was raving about fall layers, pumpkin lattes, and festive\u00a0decor I was over here like who wants to go to the beach???<\/p>\n

However, Charlie has been all about the fall festivities. \u00a0For a week straight she came home from school asking me if we could have something spooky at our house, so I figured it was time to get into the spirit and what better way than with a pumpkin patch? \u00a0And Kuwahara Farms<\/a>\u00a0did not disappoint! \u00a0Holy pumpkin heaven!! This place is legit, how am I just finding out about it (probably goes back to that whole not really in the fall spirit thing) they have every type, size, color, shape of pumpkin you can imagine sprawled throughout three giant green houses. \u00a0And the people, oh the people were so nice, which always makes me an instant fan. \u00a0If you’re a SLC local it’s a must on the pumpkin patch circuit!<\/p>\n

And the lighting is SOOOOO good! \u00a0We were there first thing in the morning but I can only imagine how gorgeous this place is in those sweet late afternoon hours. \u00a0But the plus of being the first ones there, this little man got to run up and down bringing me all is favorite finds without my mom anxiety of losing him in the crowd running wild! \u00a0Because that struggle is real with this one.<\/p>\n

As Charlie and I were digging for pumpkins Jett apparently found the apple box and helped himself! \u00a0This kid, I’m telling you! \u00a0But I have to give it to him they were quiet\u00a0delicious!<\/p>\n

What’s better than this magical pumpkin patch all to ourselves?!?! This place with all your besties and their sweet babes! \u00a0Four mama’s with 8 kids under 5 is no joke but I sure do love those littles!!<\/p>\n

Huds wasn’t as sure about his apple as my kiddos who ate core and all!! No joke the entire apple was gone.<\/p>\n

You would think Charlie saw a ghost or as she says “something spooky” but nope that’s just her “smile” face!! Although after taking a million pictures that now have this face I’m starting to think this is what a smile should really look like, I mean she puts her whole self into it!<\/p>\n

On the way home we stopped at T Jensen’s farm just down the road and the kids picked out more $1 pumpkins than I will ever admit to. \u00a0This is such a cute farm and the farmer was so nice to the kids letting them each pick a baby pumpkin of their own (which Jett has taken everywhere, and I mean everywhere, since).<\/p>\n

I highly recommend both places\u00a0as they are super kid friendly, free to get in, affordable pumpkins, and really put you in that fall mood\u00a0without all the commercial biznass!!<\/p>\n
